Quirky and Colourful on Foodies Favourite Lygon St

Very good location on main street so easy to trams.We stayed in October so not to hot weather wise but in Summer I would imagine the heat would be hard without an Aircon.Peter was great to deal with and answered messages almost immediately.

Wow, wow, wow. What a wonderful place to stay Positive: If you like basic square sterile hotel room then Quirky and Colourful is not for you. The name says it all, spread over a number of levels the entire property exudes comfort and relaxation. There is everything you need in the kitchen, the lounge room is cosy, with plenty of pillows and blankets along with chairs and lounges. While it wasn't particularly cold there were ample heaters in every room. It is often said that the two most important factors in accommodation are Hot Showers and Comfortable Beds. Quirky and Colourful satisfied both of these with ease. Great shower and the bed was wonderful. The location was good, quite central to everywhere we wanted to go. Close to trams (pretty much at the door) and 20 mins to the city. Pete responded to every question within minutes and was extremely amiable. Would we stay here again, absolutely, no question about that. Negative: To be honest there was nothing to even mention.

Positive: Loved that each room was at a different level...4 in all. All rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Great location. Tram stop is around the corner. Very happy to stay again. Negative: Only real negative that we found was the loo lid wouldn't stay up.
